Become a Stronger Science and Engineering Communicator
This course isn’t an endless slide presentation from a droning professor. Classes have a strong focus on interactive elements in a supportive, team environment.
I know many will be coming from a long day at work, so my focus is on making this an enjoyable and relaxing experience.
“See Then Do”
The classes are focused on engagement, so come prepared to listen a little then practice a little. By the end of each class you should have a balance of understanding and practical skills on the topic.
Small Group Activities
We’ll break out into smaller groups of two or three so you can get a chance to brainstorm and talk in a manageable group.
Share and Learn
Sharing gives everyone a chance to see how others approach the work. It also gives us practice in giving and getting feedback in a supportive environment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a wait list if the class is sold out?
I am happy to put you on the wait list or discuss other options. Send me a message!
Is this a good course for non-native speakers?
Absolutely! I have TESL training and have found this to be helpful in working with people in technical careers who work in teams all over the world. Learning to present to different audiences is what this course is all about.
What if I sign up but can’t attend?
I will work to find someone to fill your space so I can give you a full refund. If I can’t, I will give you a credit to a future class if you cancel at least two weeks in advance.
What if I have to miss a class?
This is an interactive class, so participation is key, but I know that life happens. Don’t worry, there will be handouts and resource materials to help you out.
What if I want to hire you for a specific project?
I am available for individual or team projects that need a little boost. I’d love to hear about yours. Send me a message!
